  China News Service, Hong Kong, June 30th (Suo Youwei Liu Yuting) Celebrating the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland - "Towards a Carbon Neutral Bay Area Youth Tour" China (Hong Kong) Youth Chapter 2022 annual event announced on the 29th, the event was officially launched. The Organizing Committee hopes to enhance the awareness of carbon neutrality among Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau students and to practice the action of "carbon reduction for all" from an early age.

  Guests from all walks of life from Beijing, Shenzhen and Macau, as well as school supervisors, managers and principals of more than 30 schools in Hong Kong, participated in the day's activities online.

Huang Baoji, Deputy Secretary General of the Hong Kong Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of China, and Zheng Guohong, Chief Executive Officer, attended the event at the Hong Kong venue.

  It is reported that the activity is guided by the Publicity and Education Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, supported by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Environment Bureau, the Macao Special Administrative Region Environmental Protection Bureau, the All-China Environmental Protection Federation, and the Institute of Climate Change and Sustainable Development of Tsinghua University; the United Front Work Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee, The United Front Work Department of Shenzhen Longgang District Committee, Shenzhen Damei Youth Growth and Development Guidance Center, Hong Kong Langqing Charity, Macao Shenzhen Economic and Cultural Promotion Association co-sponsored, and received funding from Bank of China (Hong Kong), Green Exchange Academy, Hong Kong Productivity Council, Eternal Education Fund Co., Ltd., Dongcheng Production (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. undertakes.

  The chairman of the activity group and the chairman of Hong Kong's Sunshine Charity, Mak Lechang, introduced the annual activity plan, including the Beijing National Academy of Painting exhibition "A carbon-neutral world in the eyes of children in the Bay Area" and the opening ceremony in Hong Kong. Theme works; "Carbon Neutrality for All" carbon neutral education action, "Carbon Neutrality under the Lens" competition, and "Carbon Neutrality Pioneer" biodiversity conservation promotion activities, etc.
