Thirteen Republican states have implemented "Trigger laws", laws that immediately ban abortion within a few days of the decision.

Except that in three of them, Texas, Louisiana and Utah, this ban has still not been implemented.

Local judges have indeed decided to suspend its application to allow time for all the actors to organize themselves or while waiting for new hearings.

The pro-abortion camp multiplies the appeals in all the States concerned.

Even when the laws have already come into force, resistance is organized.

In Ohio, the mayor of Cincinnati John Cranley explains that he has no intention of allocating municipal resources to the application of this law, quite the contrary.

He intends to change the city's health policy to help city workers who want an abortion to travel where they can do so freely.

In states that do not have “trigger law”, the battle has also begun.

The governor of Virginia plans to strictly regulate abortion.

It is still necessary for this that the majority of the Senate switches to his camp in the next elections.

As for liberal states, such as California or Washington State, legislators want to include the protection of abortion in their Constitution, to guarantee free access to women who will come to have an abortion.
