  According to ABC and other media sources, the Los Angeles Police Department said that it received a report of a shooting incident in Hyde Park at about 12:20 a.m. local time on the 28th.

When police arrived at the scene, they found a man and a woman in their 40s, both of whom were shot dead at the scene.

Los Angeles Police Department Sergeant Lomeli revealed to local media that the man who died in the case may be the suspect in the shooting.

  In the early morning of the same day, another woman was killed in a car crash on the 710 Freeway.

The Los Angeles County Long Beach Police Department said the accident happened around 2:30 a.m. local time on the 28th.

The woman was shot in the southbound lane and the vehicle crashed on the Anaheim Avenue exit ramp in Long Beach.

  Long Beach Police Superintendent Flores said that when California Highway Patrol and Long Beach Police Department officers arrived at the scene, they found the female driver in the wreckage of the crashed car with a gunshot wound to her upper body and died at the scene.

California Highway Patrol Superintendent Joe Keegi said it was unclear whether the shooting was a random incident or a specific target of the victim, and called on witnesses to provide information to police as soon as possible.

  According to local media reports, after the incident, someone claiming to be the victim's family member rushed to the scene, saying the victim was a mother in her 30s.
