The Head of the Traffic and Patrols Department at the Sharjah Police called for adherence to the laws regulating traffic, and the importance of adhering to the correct parking in the places designated for pedestrians, in order to preserve the safety and security of road users, noting that the executive regulations of the Traffic and Traffic Law stipulate that pedestrians do not comply with the light signal, and cross the road. From places not designated for transit, a fine of 400 dirhams will result.

He stressed that the safety of pedestrians on the road is a shared responsibility between road users and pedestrians, and road users have a major role in achieving safety through caution and attention while crossing the road.
