The high water consumption means that some have had problems getting the water enough for, for example, drinking water, cooking and hygiene.
- During the midsummer weekend, when many summer residents came out here, it was noticed that the pressure dropped in the tap, says Jan-Erik Andersson, resident at Trummenäs.
Karlskrona municipality suspects that it is irrigation of lawns that is the culprit in the drama.
- Since there is new construction here in the area, many people water their newly sown lawns, among other things, says Ann-Helene Andersson, who has lived at Trummenäs for twenty years.
