The trial of the November 13 attacks is coming to an end.

After ten months of hearing of an extraordinary trial, the decision of the special assize court of Paris is expected, Wednesday, June 29 in the evening.

Since Monday, the five professional magistrates who make up the court and their four alternates have been confined, without the possibility of leaving, in a "secure" barracks in the Paris region.

During their closed session, they will have to decide on the responsibility of the accused "in the sincerity of their conscience" and on the charges which weigh on each of them.

The Advocates General have requested life imprisonment for Salah Abdeslam, accompanied by an "incompressible" security period - the heaviest sanction in the criminal code.

The prosecution formulated vis-à-vis the nineteen other defendants sentences ranging from five years in prison to life.

The public prosecutor notably requested life imprisonment with a 22-year security sentence against the Belgian Mohammed Abrini.
