This was reported by Wirtualna Polska with reference to a statement by the Minister of State Assets Jacek Sasin.

“We have already agreed with the leadership of the Polish Oil and Gas Company (PGNiG) on this issue,” Sasin said.

He also opposed such decisions being made unilaterally.

Earlier, Piotr Naimsky, the authorized representative of the Polish government for strategic energy infrastructure, said that the country is able to survive in the absence of Russian gas supplies.

At the end of April, Gazprom announced a complete suspension of gas supplies to the Polish PGNiG, as the latter refused to pay for Russian gas in rubles.
