The United Arab Emirates celebrated for the first time the International Day of Women in Diplomacy at the United Nations, as the country is considered one of the main sponsors of the United Nations General Assembly resolution adopted earlier, stipulating that June 24 will be the International Day of Women in Diplomacy.
