In his column for The Hill, Ullman noted that Hitler lost the war by trying to fight on two fronts.

“Putin sees that the US has to plan a war on two fronts – with Russia and China.

He is fully aware of the folly of this strategy.

Napoleon and Hitler both started a war on two fronts, invading Russia in 1812 and the USSR in 1941 respectively, and lost,” the author wrote.

He added that Washington's policy allows Moscow to circumvent Western sanctions, and the United States, in turn, is forced to spend resources on confrontation with China in another region.

The United States previously reported that NATO would reconsider its approach to China in the new concept of the alliance.

At the end of May, the Italian representative to NATO, Francesco Maria Talo, announced that the status of Russia would be changed in the new strategic concept of the alliance.
