According to RIA Novosti, foreign agents cannot be officials of international organizations who have entered Russia to perform official duties.

This also applies to employees of representative offices of international organizations in Russia or employees of representative offices and officials of other organizations who, in accordance with international treaties, have been granted by Russia a status similar to that of international organizations.

Also, according to the amendments, associations of employers and chambers of commerce and industry registered in the manner prescribed by law cannot be foreign agents.

As previously reported, persons recognized as foreign agents will not be allowed to engage in teaching activities in state and municipal educational organizations.
