Kauppalehti spoke about the failed nuclear power plant construction project in Finland with the participation of Russia

It is noted that the project was closed in May in connection with the Russian special operation in Ukraine.

The station was planned to be built in Pyhäjoki to increase electricity consumption and reduce carbon emissions. 

This nuclear power plant was planned to produce 40% of electricity with the aim of achieving carbon neutrality in Finland by 2035.
