Flight restrictions in southern Russia extended until July 6

“Flights to the airports of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista are temporarily limited,” the message says.

The rest of the airports in Russia will continue to operate as usual.

Earlier, Ural Airlines extended the cancellation of flights to a number of airports in southern Russia until the end of September.

On May 20, the Russian government allocated more than 1.5 billion rubles to compensate for the operating costs of airports in the south and in the center of Russia.
