The MP drew attention to the fact that the reduction of transport tax will entail the need to compensate funds for the federal budget.
“Otherwise, on the one hand, we give preferences to Russians for the purchase of Russian cars, and, on the other hand, if we don’t repair roads, this will lead to their greater wear and accidents on the roads,” Bessarab explained.
In her opinion, it is necessary to take measures to stimulate the purchase of domestic cars, first of all, by changing their cost.
Earlier, the State Duma proposed introducing new measures to support the domestic auto industry.
In particular, it is proposed to exempt Russians from paying transport tax for three years, who will purchase Russian-made cars.
