About 11 months, the Iraqi traveler Adam Muhammad spent on foot from Britain until he reached Makkah Al-Mukarramah in order to perform the Hajj this year.

The Iraqi traveler set off from Britain on August 1, 2021, heading to Mecca to perform the Hajj, after he resolved to perform this duty in a different way, so he prepared and began his journey that passed through 11 countries.

And about his decision to go for Hajj on foot, Adam says - in a previous interview with Al Jazeera Net during his stop in Istanbul - that “after imposing a curfew due to the Corona pandemic, I occupied myself with reading and understanding the Qur’an, and after a year and a half of deep study in the Qur’an I woke up one day. I woke up and found something in my chest telling me to go on foot to Mecca.”

Journey start

At first, Adam had a feeling that this idea was crazy, but his desire to implement it exceeded this feeling, so he made an easy-to-pay cart equipped with a solar cell of a small size to take him on his long journey and put on it what he needed.

Adam hired a workshop in Britain to manufacture this car, and this workshop refused to take any money from him after I learned that he intended to take it on a long journey to Hajj on foot.

The Iraqi traveler recounts that he was not subjected to any harassment during his long journey from Britain to Mecca except for being arrested by the police in many countries because of his surprising situation, stressing that this trip was made for the sake of God and not in order to record any records or draw attention.
