The Russian Investigative Committee will initiate a case after the shelling of the Tavrida installation by the military of Ukraine

“On behalf of the chairman of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, investigators of the Russian Investigative Committee will initiate a criminal case on the shelling of the floating drilling rig (SPBU) “Tavrida” of “Chernomorneftegaz” by the armed formations of Ukraine,” the statement says.

It is noted that the Investigative Committee of Russia will take all necessary measures aimed at identifying the persons involved and bringing them to criminal responsibility.

Earlier, the head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, said that three attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine were carried out on the platforms of Chornomorneftegaz.

The Russian Defense Ministry said that Ukraine attacked Russian gas rigs in the Black Sea against the backdrop of another unsuccessful attempt to capture Serpent Island.
