Stoltenberg noted that Sweden has taken a number of measures in the field of combating terrorism in recent weeks.

Earlier, Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said that Ankara still cannot agree with the entry of Sweden and Finland into NATO.

Finnish President Sauli Niinistö said that Finland is unlikely to become a NATO member before September because of Turkey.
