During the conversation, the leaders of the states discussed the results of previous cooperation.

Then they moved on to discussing new projects and important issues for the economies of the countries.

“Discussions also touched on various issues, including topics such as trade and investment, south-south cooperation, especially in the pharmaceutical sector, renewable energy, nuclear medicine, defense,” the Foreign Ministry said. 

Following the event, the Prime Minister of India wrote on his social networks that the talks were very productive, and cooperation between the two countries will bring great benefits to the Indian people.

Earlier, Argentina announced its desire to become a full member of the BRICS group, which currently includes Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
