Jordan.. Al-Khasawneh heads to Aqaba to find out the circumstances of the gas leak at the port

The Jordanian Prime Minister, Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh, went to Aqaba to determine the circumstances of the leakage of toxic gas from a tanker in the port of Aqaba.

The media spokesman for the Jordanian Public Security Directorate said that the specialists and the hazardous materials team in the Civil Defense are currently dealing with the incident of the laurel leak in the port of Aqaba.

He added in a statement, that the accident has resulted in five deaths and 234 injuries so far, indicating that work is still underway with the incident.

He reported that there are a number of injuries in hospitals.
