At the moment, the contract can be concluded after three months of service.

According to RIA Novosti, the amendments to the law will affect men with secondary education who are not in the reserve, who "enter the military service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation."

The text of the amendments was introduced by the head of the State Duma Defense Committee Andrei Kartapolov and a number of deputies.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law abolishing the upper limit of the age limit for concluding the first contract for military service.

In accordance with it, citizens (foreign citizens) over the age of 18 have the right to conclude the first contract for military service.

On June 28, the Duma will consider in the second reading amendments to the law "On military duty and military service", which provide for the possibility of school graduates to enter into a contract for military service in the country's armed forces.
