Prime Minister Kishida has arrived in Germany, the venue for the G7 Summit, the summit of the seven major countries.

At the summit meeting that will open later, I would like to confirm the policy of uniting and responding to the military invasion of Ukraine by Russia and the global food crisis with the G7.

Prime Minister Kishida arrived in Germany before 3:00 pm Japan time to attend the G7 Summit in Elmau, southern Germany.

At the summit meeting that will open later, Prime Minister Kishida shared with the G7 the recognition that the military invasion of Ukraine by Russia has shaken the foundation of the international order, and united including the global price hike and the food crisis. I would like to confirm the corresponding policy.

In addition to explaining Japan's response so far, I would like to express support for Ukraine and the Middle East and African countries affected by the food crisis.

In addition, I would like to actively lead discussions on regional conditions including China and North Korea, climate change measures, energy issues, etc., and connect the results of the conference to the G7 Summit to be held in Hiroshima next year.
