It is reported by Kyodo with reference to the report of the statistical center Teikoku Databank.

Out of 168 large Japanese companies, only four have refused further cooperation with Russia (2.4%).

Such a low percentage may indicate Japan's plans to continue working on the Russian market.

To date, Toyota Motor, Nissan Motor, Bridgestone have temporarily stopped working in Russia.

Fast Retailing announced the closure of Uniqlo clothing stores.

Earlier, a member of the upper house of the Japanese parliament, Muneo Suzuki, expressed the opinion that the temperature of relations between Japan and Russia, which have been created for decades, "has dropped to zero."

In addition, the Secretary General of the Japanese Cabinet, Hirokazu Matsuno, said that Japan would cooperate with the G7 countries to increase pressure on Russia in order to cut off ways to circumvent sanctions.
