President Joe Biden finally signed the gun control bill passed by Congress.

"It will save many lives," Biden said after signing the gun control bill at the White House before leaving for Germany, where the seven major summits will be held, according to Reuters and AFP news.

The bill would make it possible to provide juvenile offenses and records for background checks for 18-21 year olds looking to buy a firearm.

It also includes a review of the mental health status of relatively immature gun buyers under the age of 21 for at least 10 days.

It also included incentivizing states to introduce a 'red flag' law that tightens gun trafficking penalties and temporarily confiscates firearms from those deemed dangerous.

The U.S. Senate passed the bill on the 23rd, which was prepared in response to the Texas elementary school massacre last month, and the House of Representatives passed the bill the next day.
