The station in Trosa is staffed non-profit all year round, around the clock by about 20 people.

They take turns being on call and responsible for emergency calls when the alarm goes off.

The area for which the station in Trosa is responsible extends in a triangle between Oxelösund, Landsort and Södertälje.
