One person was killed and two others were injured in a shooting at an auto parts manufacturer in the suburbs of Chicago.

Bowlingbrook Police Department, Illinois, USA said yesterday (25th) at around 6:25 am local time that a shooting occurred at a warehouse facility of Weathertech, an automobile supply company in Bowlingbrook. He was discharged, but the other is in critical condition.

The police are investigating the suspect, who fled about three hours after the incident, and arrested the suspect after a search.

However, the motive for the crime or the specific charges that will be applied to the suspect are not yet known.

Weathertech is a company that manufactures high-performance car mats and under-seat storage systems, and Bowlingbrook is a suburban town about 48km southwest of downtown Chicago.

"Our community has been shattered by indiscriminate gun violence," said Congressman Bill Foster, who serves as the constituency's constituency.

The shooting comes after a bill to tighten gun control measures was agreed on in Washington, D.C., the first in decades.

The new law, which was passed by the U.S. House of Representatives and signed by U.S. President Biden after passing through the House of Representatives, is enacted and enacted, including provisions for strengthening background checks for young people between the ages of 18 and 21 when purchasing firearms.
