Authorities are investigating the deaths of 21 people, including teenagers, at a bar in a small town in southern South Africa.



According to Reuters and AFP news, on the 26th local time, 17 bodies were found in a pub in East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa.



Four people were taken to the hospital from the scene, and the death toll so far stands at 21.



State officials said the deaths were mostly between the ages of 17 and 20, with 13 men and eight women.



State officials said many of these were students who had completed their final exams.



The local police are planning to check whether there is any poisoning through an autopsy, given that there is no special trauma to the body and no bloodstains were found in the tavern.
