Today (25th), on the 72nd anniversary of the Korean War, a commemorative event was held at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul with 1,500 people including domestic and foreign veterans, Prime Minister Han Duk-soo, Democratic Party's Sang-ho Woo, and Justice Party Emergency Response Committee Chairman Lee Eun-joo.



At today's event under the theme of 'Freedom to be preserved, peace to be preserved', Prime Minister Han emphasized that the Korean national heroes and UN veterans will never be forgotten.

Prime Minister Han also said that North Korea's recent repeated missile launches and nuclear threat He said that peace on the Korean Peninsula and the world is threatened, and that he will strengthen his security posture and respond quickly and decisively by mobilizing all necessary means.



Still, he added that he would not neglect diplomatic efforts to elicit humanitarian aid to North Korea and cooperation from the international community.



At today's event, medals of service were awarded to Lieutenant Young-hoon Lee, Sergeant Im-seop Shim, Sgt. Jun-geol Yoon, Sgt. Won-jae Lee, and Sgt.



In the midst of this, North Korea held mass rallies one after another, such as the 'Meeting for revenge resolution' of labor groups, instigating anti-US struggle consciousness.



It is the first time in five years since 2017 that North Korea held an anti-US rally around 6.25.
