Lisa Ring has a great love for nature and to find new strength she always returns to the forest - and Östgötaleden.

Here she can recover and get new energy for running.

- Nature gives me joy, peace and everything else I need to cope with what I encounter in life, says Lisa Ring.

Varying landscapes

The Östgötaleden, which is 150 km long, with countless tracks and varied terrain, has inspired Lisa to run every meter that the trail has to offer.

- Apart from the fact that it was a big challenge for me, it was fun to experience the great variety with flat landscapes to really hilly terrain.

I think it's cool that you connect all the municipalities in the county with nature, she says.

It took about five years to complete all the miles and now Lisa you have gathered her thoughts, tips and experiences in one book.

- I want to spread knowledge to everyone and hope to arouse a curiosity and freedom to venture out on the Östgötaleden, says Lisa Ring.
