The City of Malmö's planned PDV training (ongoing lethal violence) has been completed for several years.
In total, just over 100 schools, from preschool to municipal adult, will have to prepare for the worst - that someone attacks teachers and students at the school.
Pia Thevselius is a security consultant at SRS Security, the company that has been commissioned to train Malmö's school staff and she believes that practical exercises increase the chance of doing the right thing in a sharp situation.
- If you have not practiced, then you have to start thinking here and there what to do and that time does not exist.
Therefore, you have to get into the muscle memory how to act so that you make decisions quickly, says Pia Thevselius.
