In Asia, following Singapore and Korea, a case of monkey pox was also reported in Taiwan.



Taiwanese health authorities confirmed that an international student who arrived from Germany on the 20th was diagnosed with monkey pox, local media reported.



The patient showed symptoms such as fever, sore throat, muscle pain, and a skin rash. Authorities said that the health status of five people, including medical staff with whom the patient had close contact, were being followed.



Currently, 3,598 cases of monkey pox have been reported in 50 countries around the world.
