This was reported by the office of the Turkish President.

“During the conversation, issues related to the application for NATO membership by Sweden and Finland were discussed.

President Erdogan called for the need for Sweden and Finland to take concrete and sincere steps against the PKK terrorist organization, lift the embargo on the defense industry imposed against Turkey, and other restrictions, ”TASS reports.

Earlier, Russian Permanent Representative to the EU Vladimir Chizhov said that the chances of a breakthrough on the issue of admitting Sweden and Finland to NATO at the summit in Madrid on June 28-30 are minimal.

Finnish President Sauli Niinistö said that Finland is unlikely to become a NATO member before September because of Turkey.
