The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, arrived today, Friday, in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, for an official two-day visit.

The Qatari Emiri Diwan said that the visit came at the invitation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

The Egyptian presidential spokesman announced that the visit of the Emir of Qatar will include a discussion of bilateral relations and ways to enhance them in various fields, as well as discussions on developments in regional and international political issues.

Earlier today, the Qatari Emiri Diwan said that the Emir left Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, on Friday afternoon, after he participated in the 26th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
