The suspect in custody
On Wednesday morning, an 11-month-old girl was found unconscious in this nursery in the 3rd arrondissement, and rushed to the Bron woman mother child hospital.
She could not be revived.
The first elements showed that she had ingested a toxic product, without it being known how she had come into contact with it.
The 27-year-old childcare assistant was alone in the establishment at the time of the incident.
Her police custody was extended until she confessed to having wanted to kill the child.
The young woman was placed in pre-trial detention, on the count of intentional homicide of a minor under 15 years old.
