“Investigators of the Investigative Committee of Russia, as part of the investigation of criminal cases, will establish the circumstances of the shelling of the civilian population of Donbas by Ukraine,” the Telegram message says.
It is noted that an investigation will be conducted into the shelling of the settlement of Stakhanov by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on June 22 using the Tochka-U missile system.
Investigators will also check the shelling of the Kievsky district of Donetsk, as a result of which a civilian was injured.
“The Investigative Committee of Russia will take all the necessary measures aimed at identifying the persons involved in this and bringing them to criminal liability,” the Investigative Committee added.
Earlier it became known that Russian investigators handed over to the prosecutor's offices of the DPR and LPR ten criminal cases about the shelling of the territory of Donbass by the Ukrainian military.
