Alikhanov stated this in a video message published on his Telegram channel.

According to him, in any scenario, Kaliningrad has the necessary support from the federal center.

“Now, however, there are reports that the Europeans will take into account their obligations and will not interfere with the Kaliningrad transit.

Let's see how this will be reflected in the documents, how fast it will be," the governor said.

Earlier, Alikhanov said that the Kaliningrad region expects that, together with the Russian Foreign Ministry, it will be possible to achieve EU amendments that will eliminate restrictions on transit to the region.

On June 17, the Lithuanian Railways company notified the Kaliningrad Railways about the termination of the transit of a number of sanctioned goods.
