The investigation is progressing about the death of a young biker killed at the end of May on the road linking Pornichet to Saint-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique), after being shot in the head.

A 21-year-old young man has been indicted and imprisoned, the Rennes prosecutor's office announced on Friday.

Tuesday in Saint-Nazaire, the investigators of the DTPJ (territorial direction of judicial protection) of Nantes arrested the suspect "designated by several witnesses as being the individual on a motorcycle who took charge of the victim the evening of his death", told the prosecutor of the Republic of Rennes Philippe Astruc.

During his arrest, the respondent was carrying a handgun with a loaded magazine.

During his police custody and the notification of his indictment, in particular for murder in an organized gang, arrest and kidnapping, the suspect used “his right to silence”, indicated the prosecutor.

It is "a young adult already convicted as a minor for offenses against the legislation on narcotics and weapons", according to the same source.

The lifeless body of the young man born in 2000 had been discovered under a burning motorcycle, according to the prosecution.
