The alarm about the shooting in Solberga came to the police around 22.20.

- We have had a shooting and one person has been found with gunshot wounds, says police spokesman Ola Österling to TT.

- We received several calls about observations about shootings.

After almost an hour of searching, we found the gunshot wounded person outdoors, says Österling.

A large police operation was launched and the crime scene was cordoned off.

At midnight, no suspect was arrested.

Early Friday morning, the police confirm to Expressen that the shot man died of his injuries.

Shot against balcony

At 22.34, the police were alerted to a shooting in Björkhagen in southeast Stockholm.

A person was on a balcony when a shot hit through the balcony and hit the facade of the house.

According to police, the person was hit by a ricochet or a fragment of the bullet.

- The person is basically unharmed, says Ola Österling to TT.

The police are investigating the incident as a serious gun crime.

Several people have been questioned.
