A military source in the Yemeni army stated that the army and security forces are continuing to complete the battle against terrorist groups and militias, noting that the recent attacks revealed the relationship between terrorist organizations and Houthi militias.

Today, Thursday, the army pledged, in a statement published by the official Yemeni news agency "Saba", to move forward with the project to restore the state and uproot terrorism and extremism, describing the two terrorist operations that targeted soldiers in the governorates of (Abyan and Shabwa) as cooperating between the militias and the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda.



The Yemeni forces affirmed that "these terrorist crimes will not deter the armed forces, with all their formations and formations, from carrying out their constitutional and national duties in fighting terrorist organizations with all their names and confronting plots and conspiracies that stalk the security and stability of the country."

 She reiterated that the armed forces are continuing the battle with the Houthi militias and their project, restoring the state and preserving public and private institutions and properties in partnership with the brothers in the coalition to support legitimacy led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, and continuing to work with partners in the international community to uproot terrorism. extremism and the liberation of Yemen from terrorist groups and militias.



Earlier, the Abyan Governorate Police announced its intention to launch a large-scale military operation against Al-Qaeda in the entire Abyan Governorate, calling on tribesmen and citizens to support the army and security heroes in the upcoming operation, with the participation and support of the Security Belt Forces, the Southern and Joint Forces and the Resistance, in order to fight the next battle, which will be Abyan and Shabwa scene.

 The forces of the southern giants announced today that they hosted joint meetings of all forces in Abyan to coordinate efforts, bring views closer, and arrange for the upcoming military operation to maintain the security and stability of Abyan and others.

Regarding the Houthi violations of the UN armistice, the joint forces on the western coast and western Taiz announced that they had monitored 43 new violations on the coastal fronts during the past 24 hours, including sending reinforcements and attempts to concentrate in important areas near the lines of contact.

Regarding the UN truce, the Yemeni government announced a single condition for accepting a political settlement with the Houthi militia, which rejected the UN envoy’s proposal to open Taiz roads, noting that its condition is that the terms of the UN truce must be implemented in full.

Yemeni Foreign Minister Ahmed bin Mubarak, during his meeting with the Swedish Special Envoy to Yemen Peter Semneby, stressed that the current truce, specifically the lifting of the siege on Taiz, is an indication of the militias' seriousness to accept a political settlement, and that the failure to achieve progress in this humanitarian issue will obstruct the efforts being made. to launch the political process.

The US envoy, Tim Lenderking, who arrived in Muscat as part of his new efforts to push for the implementation of the truce provisions in Yemen, called on the Yemeni parties to adhere to the truce and build on it to reach a comprehensive political process.

For its part, informed Yemeni sources reported that the Houthi militias are procrastinating in implementing the terms of the UN truce, especially with regard to the Taiz roads, for fear of what is to come, because the Houthis know the importance of Taiz and therefore continue to evade and will not open the crossings in response to the calls of the UN envoy.

The head of the government delegation to the Amman consultations regarding the opening of Taiz roads, Abdul Karim Shaiban, accused the Houthi militia of trying to tamper and disregard the decision of the UN envoy Hans Grundberg, at the same time holding the UN envoy responsible for taking a strong condemnation decision against the militias after they rejected his proposal regarding the Taiz roads, calling on the community The international community to take a decision on sanctions against the Houthi militia, as it obstructs the armistice.

In Hajjah, the engineering teams of the Fifth Military District succeeded in dismantling a minefield planted by the militias in the village of Shu’bah in the Hiran District, northwest of the governorate. It contained 30 mines, including 8 anti-vehicle mines.

In Sanaa, the Houthi militia launched a new campaign against the Sanhan tribe, south of the capital, accused of trying to join the forces of the internationally recognized Yemeni government, according to local sources, stressing that the campaign that headed Thursday to the directorate consisted of ten armored vehicles and other armed elements on them.

The sources indicated that the militias fear that 500 tribesmen will join the joint forces on the western coast in order to establish the "Sana'a Ring" brigade, which was expressed by the militia leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, in his recent speech to his terrorist elements.

The militias and their leader's fears of a popular uprising in their areas of control escalated, as Abdul-Malik al-Houthi warned of what he called "the trampled elements", describing those who demand services as "dupes".


This came in a televised speech by Al-Houthi to a crowd of what the militia media described as the dignitaries of Sanaa, whom Al-Houthi meets, coinciding with the Houthis' rising fears of a revolution in their areas of control as a result of the deterioration of services and the narrow situation of citizens.
