At the EU and EU summit held in Brussels, Belgium, Ukraine's status as a candidate for EU accession along with Moldova was unanimously approved by 27 countries.

[Roberta Mezzola/Chairman of the European Parliament: This decision to grant Ukraine candidate status is the right decision and will strengthen Ukraine.

It will make Europe stronger.

This is a decision for freedom and democracy.]

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky welcomed on Twitter that it was a "very special and historical moment" and that "Ukraine's future lies in the EU".

On February 28, four days after the Russian invasion began, President Zelensky officially requested EU accession, and the decision was made exceptionally quickly.

In fact, it is expected that it will take at least several years to qualify as a full member state, as it requires verification that it meets the EU membership criteria in the administrative and economic fields.

It was also reported that an American high-speed mobile artillery rocket system had arrived in Ukraine, which could be a factor in the war between Ukraine and Russia, which has been going on for a long time.

At the BRICS summit held yesterday via video, Russia, China, India, Brazil, and South Africa, five emerging countries, the 'Beijing Declaration' was released, which included support for negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.

However, it seems that the other three countries, including India, did not get the consent of the other three countries because the argument against sanctions against Russia, which China and Russia have emphasized, was not included.
