, were arrested and charged Thursday in the UK for allegedly traveling with a minor for the purpose of using his organs.
According to the local press, the British authorities accuse them of one count of conspiracy to facilitate the trip of another person for
the purpose of exploitation.
The victim (a
15-year-old
teenager ) has been rescued by the British Police, the Nigerian newspaper 'The Guardian' published.
The arrest came as a result of an investigation that had begun in 2022 on
suspicion of child slavery
