Before regular major weekends, the police are gearing up, but this year it will be special when midsummer coincides with events at Piteå havsbad.

Violent crimes most common
In Luleå and Boden, no major reinforcement has been planned, but regular midsummer is expected.
In recent years, even before the pandemic, Piteå has experienced midsummer as calmer events.
- The most common are violent crimes, traffic disruptions and vandalism during weekends like this - unfortunately, says Stefan Nilsson.
