The Federal National Council will conclude the third ordinary session of the seventeenth legislative term, next week, with two sessions, during which it will discuss five draft federal laws.

The first is devoted to discussing three draft federal laws, while the second discusses two federal bills, and ends with the Speaker's announcement of the adjournment of the third session.

A parliamentary source told "Emirates Today" that the Council will discuss, in its session scheduled for Tuesday, three projects with federal laws, the first is to amend some provisions of Federal Decree-Law No. (23) of 2021 regarding military decorations, medals and insignia, where members are briefed on the report of the Defense, Interior and Foreign Affairs Committee. regarding the draft law, which included the amendment of two articles, and the members are also discussing a federal draft law amending some provisions of Federal Law No. (8) of 2019 regarding medical products, the pharmacy profession and pharmaceutical facilities, after reviewing the report of the Health and Environmental Affairs Committee on the draft law, which aims to keep pace with The developments in the country in the field of investment, and allowing foreign investors to own companies in the health sector.

The source said that the council will also discuss a draft federal law regarding the organization of places of worship, as it will be briefed on the report of the council's Social Affairs, Labor, Population and Human Resources Committee.

He explained that the council will hold its final session, next Wednesday, and allocate it to discuss two federal bills, the first on cooperatives, where the report of the Financial, Economic and Industrial Affairs Committee on the draft law will be reviewed, which aims to enhance the role of cooperatives in achieving sustainable development, benefiting their members, and achieving a balance. market.

The second is a draft law on the regulation of commercial agencies.
