“I am infuriated by the way Lithuania is behaving today.

There is a saying: “Small bug, but stinky” is the perfect saying that describes the behavior of Lithuania,” he said.

According to him, the people of Lithuania have nothing to do with the actions of the government, but the government of the country is “miserable puppets sucked on by the Americans, who can do nothing but follow orders of any degree of idiocy.”

He recalled that before that, the Americans ordered Lithuania to quarrel with China, and the Lithuanian authorities did it with pleasure.

“And now they were told that, allegedly, after consultation with the European Union, it is necessary to restrict all transport that goes by rail, allegedly all sanctioned goods now have no right to go from Russia to Kaliningrad and back.

That is, Lithuania simply took and unilaterally made a blockade of Russia,” Lebedev said.

In his opinion, now Lithuania must be punished in the most severe way.

Lebedev stressed that this is not about importing anything into the territory of Lithuania, but about transit goods.

“These agreements were signed 20 years ago, when the European Union was expanding, and the fact that a railway line connects mainland Russia with Kaliningrad was never discussed.

All goods that travel by rail from Kaliningrad to Russia and back must always pass unhindered.

And the fact that Lithuania has now decided to blunder out of the blue suggests that it was ordered to do this, and this is very pitiful.

I dream that Lithuania will be punished for this, because it is so stupid to behave and so spit on its sovereignty ... I don’t know any other such stupid country in the world, ”he concluded.

Earlier, Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev said that Lithuania is violating a number of international legal acts affecting the obligations of the European Union by starting a blockade of the Kaliningrad region.

On June 17, Lithuanian Railways notified Kaliningrad Railways of the termination of the transit of a number of sanctioned goods.

The Kaliningrad region has already put forward three proposals for response to the Lithuanian decision.
