The oppositions refused Thursday the idea of a government coalition put on the table by Emmanuel Macron the day before, urging him to "take the first step" and propose "very clear" measures for the French which will be debated in Parliament. "case by case".

Request of clarification
The Head of State must therefore "set very clear courses" instead of "reversing the roles".
"He knows our commitments perfectly. We want very clear things. We want the minimum wage at 1,500 euros net. Does he want to add it to his project, yes or no?", she asked, stressing that the bill on purchasing power which must be voted on in the summer "cannot only be added patches: it must be a real change of course on this".

PS senator and party spokesman Rachid Temal pleaded for "democratic life, parliamentary life".
If Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne "want to make an agreement with the right, let them make an agreement with the right. If not, they come with texts before Parliament", in particular on purchasing power, and then deputies and senators will be able "to find compromises", as is already the case today, he said on Public Senate.
No coalition for the Republicans
On the right, LR "refuses" a coalition contract "because not only is it nonsense with regard to our ideas and our values, but in addition, it is what will bring us a little further towards the future. The RN demands "a first step"
On the far right, the acting president of the RN Jordan Bardella considered that it was up to Mr. Macron to "take the first step" because "it was he who was beaten at the ballot box last Sunday".
"It is therefore up to him to say today what path he is ready to take, on what axes of his program is he ready to back down or give up in order to make a way towards the opposition parties which have been brought in a democratic way to the National Assembly", urged Mr. Bardella.
