A value of 33 million dollars .. “Customs” of Kuwait seizes 4 million Captagon pills with an Arab smuggler

In a preemptive strike, the search and investigation men in the General Administration of Customs in Kuwait arrested a Syrian national, after he submitted to air freight at Kuwait Airport to receive his goods, where more than 4 million Captagon pills were found.

Kuwaiti newspaper "Al-Rai" quoted a customs source as confirming that under the supervision of the Director of Research and Investigation Rashid Al-Baraka, and with the follow-up of his deputy, Khaled Al-Rumaih, and after monitoring and tracking the progress of the goods from their exit from Turkey to their arrival in Kuwait yesterday morning, and by inspecting them, narcotic pills were found.

The source pointed out that the prohibited goods belong to a Syrian national who was able to hide more than 4 million pills in thermal packaging machines for identity cards, and its market value is estimated at more than 10 million Kuwaiti dinars (i.e. approximately 33 million US dollars), and it has been referred to the competent authorities.
