Dubai Municipality reported that it provided the sacrifice service through seven smart applications, which enable the sacrifice to purchase, slaughter, distribute, and deliver the sacrifice to homes, with the aim of saving time and effort, and ensuring the highest quality standards.

The Acting Director of Public Health Services in the municipality, Ali Taher Al Hammadi, confirmed to "Emirates Today" the implementation of field inspection campaigns, in coordination with Dubai Police, to monitor, track and control the butchers traveling in livestock markets, with the aim of eliminating this phenomenon.

Al Hammadi warned against resorting to roving butchers, as they pose a danger to society and the environment, as they lack health and safety procedures, and do not take into account the cleanliness and sterilization of slaughter tools, in addition to collecting fees more expensive than those approved in slaughterhouses.

Al Hammadi stressed the importance of committing to slaughter in slaughterhouses supervised by the municipality, to use the latest tools, equipment and equipment that are operated in accordance with internationally approved health conditions and standards, and contribute to maintaining health and safety, as the carcasses are prepared and prepared in a clean and healthy environment, and veterinary examination of the carcasses Before and after slaughter, to ensure their safety and suitability for human consumption.

He explained that the municipal abattoirs have strengthened their preparations to receive the blessed Eid Al-Adha, by providing an order, purchasing and preparing livestock, and delivering them to the home through smart applications, without the need to come to the slaughterhouse, as part of its efforts to ensure that its services are provided in accordance with the highest quality standards, and its keenness to meet the needs of Dealers smoothly, flexibly and quickly, in order to achieve its vision of being a leading municipality for a global city, providing the highest levels of well-being, health and safety for members of society.

The smart applications approved for requesting sacrifices include the “Livestock” application, “Turkish for sacrifices”, “Al-Farij youth for sacrifices”, “Dar sacrifices”, “Al-Anoud for sacrifices”, “Emirates sacrifices”, and “Tender Store for meat”, which provide high-quality services, It saves time and effort.

Al Hammadi pointed out that the sacrificers who use smart applications can also activate the sacrifice distribution service, to go to the food bank, or to charitable societies, to distribute them in turn to the beneficiaries according to their approved lists.

The municipality has set guiding steps when transporting livestock to the slaughterhouse, allocating equipped vehicles to ensure their safety, stressing adherence to preventive measures, and avoiding slaughter inside ranches and farms, to ensure the safety of animals, and reduce diseases common between humans and animals.

It is worth noting that Dubai Municipality provides services for requesting the slaughter of livestock in accordance with the provisions of Islamic Sharia, and veterinary examination of livestock before slaughter, to ensure their safety, slaughter and preparation, in addition to cooling and delivery services to customers using the latest tools, equipment and equipment, and in accordance with internationally approved health conditions and standards.
