She explained that negligence is a major cause of children drowning, which requires not being distracted while they are swimming.

She gave 12 tips, which she considered a "lifeline" to protect children from drowning in home swimming pools, the most important of which is that children not use the swimming pools alone, put a safe fence around the pools, be familiar with swimming, and that the floor surrounding the swimming pool is non-slip, and provide children with collars, tools and life jackets while swimming, Parents are not preoccupied with phones while their children are swimming, and parents have learned the principles of first aid, locking doors leading to swimming pools when not in use, children under three years not entering pools, providing pools with fixed ladders, the presence of metal handles on the pools perimeter, and not ignoring safety instructions Stressing the importance of taking this matter into consideration in order to preserve their safety.
