Work on a plan for a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine is possible after Kyiv fulfills all the requirements from Moscow, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, emphasized, answering a question about the publication of a draft of such a document in The National Interest magazine.

“As for the peace plan, yes, it is possible after Ukraine fulfills all the requirements of the Russian side,” Peskov said, noting that the Kremlin did not have the opportunity to get acquainted with this material.

Answering a clarifying question about Moscow's specific claims, he said: "Ukraine knows everything very well."

The presidential press secretary also said that the Russian side carefully records all episodes of the use of Western weapons in the Ukrainian conflict.

“Therefore, if some of these weapons reach the front lines and are not destroyed by our military, we will monitor how they are used,” he said, answering the question whether Moscow is ready to believe Kyiv’s assurances that Western-supplied weapons are not will be used for strikes on Russian territory.

Against this background, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that American HIMARS missile systems had arrived in the country.

Earlier, the Pentagon stated that multiple launch rocket systems are supplied to Ukrainian troops on the condition that these systems are not used on the territory of the Russian Federation.

However, the Russian Ministry of Defense does not rule out that the Kyiv regime will use these MLRS to strike at the border areas.
