The Ukrainian military evacuated the bodies of dead mercenaries from the United States and Great Britain from the DPR, said the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.
“In the area of Nikolaevka of the Donetsk People’s Republic, in connection with the threat of defeating units of the 14th and 24th mechanized brigades, the Ukrainian command evacuated up to 30 wounded and eight dead American and British mercenaries at night to prevent them from falling into units of the Russian Armed Forces,” he said. At the same time, up to 500 servicemen of the 59th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with weapons and military equipment were destroyed by a strike of high-precision weapons of the Russian Aerospace Forces in the shops of the Nikolaev shipbuilding plant Okean.
At the same time, according to Konashenkov, the servicemen of the battalion of the 57th motorized infantry brigade, having lost more than 60% of their personnel, refused to obey the order of the command and arbitrarily left all their positions.
More than 620 nationalists, 24 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, as well as 27 special vehicles were destroyed as a result of air strikes, rocket troops and artillery.
At the same time, as part of the counter-battery fight, 13 Ukrainian platoons of multiple launch rocket systems, ten platoons of cannon artillery and the US-made AN-TPQ artillery reconnaissance station were hit.
Russian air defense systems, in turn, shot down Ukrainian Su-25 and MiG-29 aircraft, 16 drones, and also intercepted three Tochka-U ballistic missiles and 14 multiple rocket launchers.

Attack on a refinery in the Rostov region
