“Russian air defense systems shot down a Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force in the Barmashovo region of the Nikolaev region and a MiG-29 in the Apostolovo region of the Dnepropetrovsk region in a day,” the statement says.
The Ministry of Defense added that 16 UAVs of Ukraine were shot down, including in the area of Snake Island.
Earlier it became known that Russian air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
