Lavrov said that the West shields Kyiv "with or without reason"

Lavrov noted that he was “more surprised not by the lies that are heard daily, hourly” from the Ukrainian side, but by “how the patrons of Kyiv began to play this game of lies.”

“They shield him with or without reason.

And this is not only now,” the minister said.

Earlier, Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said that Western countries are engaged in inciting violence and Russophobia in Ukraine.
